This course focuses on common coding management issues including coding quality, coding productivity, and workflow processes. Recruitment, training, and retention of coding staff is included.

Prerequisites: The software used in Medical Coding classes are PC based. Prerequisites: 10530183 ICD-9-CM & 10530184 CPT. Pre or Coreq: 10530185 Health Care Reimbursement. Must be accepted into the Advanced Medical Coding program.
