Aggregates And Concrete

Introduces the fundamental principles of aggregates, Portland cement concrete and bituminous concrete. Emphasizes standards-based sampling and testing in laboratory and field environments. Tests are performed according to standards set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). Students communicate results in written reports. Prerequisites: 10-804-114.
