Topics include soil composition and texture, subsurface investigation, classification, moisture-density relationships, permeability and seepage, consolidation, settlement, shear strength, lateral earth pressures, fundamentals of retaining structures, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability and erosion loss calculations.
