Provides opportunities to practice the principles and procedures of laboratory medicine on-site, in a clinical laboratory facility Students will practice in the areas of blood banking and microbiology, including serology and immunological procedures. Students also complete a case study for presentation. Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of on campus pre-clinical experience 10-513-141 and 10-513-142.

Prerequisites: Students must be enrolled in the Clinical Laboratory Technician Program. Students must also be concurrently enrolled in Adv Top Micro (513-140), PreClin Exp (513-141), Clin Exp 1 (513-142), and Ethics in Medicine (809-266)
