Intro to Specifications

An introduction to the recommended techniques and philosophy for preparing, organizing, using, and interpreting construction documents. Students will become familiar with certain AIA documents, understand proper product evaluation and selection, and computerized specification writing. Emphasis will be placed on the CSI Manual of Practice. Representatives in the construction field and business will supplement the course. Prerequisite: Second year program status
