"PC Computer Intro" provides an overview of the PC for true beginners; students will become familiar with the keyboard, mouse, hardware terminology, software programs, desktop icons, menus, files, and the Windows operating system. In "PC Computer Intro - Leisurely Paced," the class format, contents, and pace are adjustable to accommodate the needs of the class. "Intro to Computers Workshop" provides an overview of the PC for true beginners: keyboard functions, mouse, hardware terminology, software, using desktop icons, menus, Windows operating system, and creating and managing files and file storage. In "Transitioning to MS Office 2007", you will earn about the differences between Office 2003 and Office 2007, such as interface changes and file formats for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access; this class will help you explore new features in Office 2007 and discuss workarounds for features that are no longer available in Office 2007.
