Studies basic principles related to electro-mechanical systems as well as motors, transformers, frequency drives and various electro-mechanical devices to enhance AC power distribution and control systems. Introduces programmable logic controllers in the on/off mode. Pre-requisite: 32-414-316 and second semester standing or instructor consent.
