This course covers the basics of DHTML, JavaScript, and the XmlHttpRequest call. Students learn how to add JavaScript and AJAX to existing programs, and design new applications to exploit the power of Web 2.0. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in Advanced Website Development, 10-152-121; and Advanced PHP and MySQL Web Development, 10-152-167, Advanced Visual Basic.NET, 10-152-102, or Advanced Java, 10-152-112; or consent of instructor.
