Documentary Storytelling

Documentary Storytelling is an introduction to the craft of telling non-fiction and news stories through the medium of digital video. This course will teach news reporting and writing skills needed for the documentary format, along with journalism theory, law, and ethics of video journalism. Students will also learn basic digital camcorder operation, storyboard development, video editing, sound editing, and podcasting. Pre-requisite: English 1 or Written Communications.
