This course is designed to provide musicians and music theory students with aural and keyboard skills applicable to many areas of music study and performance. Students develop ability to recognize and notate major and minor scales, melodic and harmonic intervals, melodic phrases, chords and chord progressions, and common rhythmic patterns.
