Studies growth and development from conception through the older adult, based on Erickson’s conceptualization of the developmental process through the entire life cycle. Implications for nursing practice in caring for middle and older age individuals in a variety of settings are explored. May be taken prior to entering the program (on a space-available basis). First eight-week block. Prerequisites: one year each of high school math and science with a grade of C or better in each course, each semester.
