Materials/Environ Regs

A study of the various raw materials and elements used or resulting from print production and an analysis of their environmental impact. We will survey various governmental regulations that affect the production process and determine ways to comply with regulations yet maintain profitability. We will examine the manufacturing of paper to discover how desired properties are achieved and environmental issues minimized. Prerequisite: all first-year printing courses.
