Students will explore mechanisms and mindsets to enhance their ability to listen to customers, educate them and fulfill their expectations. The class will design, write and print a newsletter for clients. Preflighting concepts will be introduced. Estimating instructional emphasis is on recognizing the operations necessary to produce a printed piece, then using charts to establish pricing. Discussion topics include how Trade Customs and production standards influence cost.
