Radiation Protection & Biology

Prepares radiography students to protect themselves and others from exposure to radioactivity. Students examine the characteristics of radiation and hoe radiation affects cell biology. Students apply standards and guidelines for radiation exposure. Prerequisite: 10-526-193. Corequisites: 10-526-189, 10-526-190

Credits: 3

Prerequisites: Students must be enrolled in the Radiography program. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Path (526-1859), Radio Clin Prac 5 (526-190), Ethics of Med (809-266) and Dev Psych (809-233)
