This second level clinical course prepares radiography students to perform radiologic procedures on patients with extensive supervision and direction. Students apply radiation protection and standard precautions in the production of radiographs in a health care setting while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. An emphasis of the course is the development of communication and critical thinking skills appropriate to the clinical setting. Corequisites: 10-526-170, 10-526-191, 10-526-172

Prerequisites: Students must be enrolled in the Radiography program. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Radio Image 2 (526-170), Radio A&P 2 (526-191) and Fund of Speech (810-201)
